The Business

Contribution by Stevie Kirby
Owning your own business is tough enough as it is, but with my silent partner decided to drop out of the venture just a couple of months before we were supposed to open the store, my whole life turned upside down. I was pretty much painting, because I didn't know how was going to make this work, but after I calm myself down I realized I can check things off the list one item at a time. The money wasn't an issue, it was the fact that my partner was more or less the brains behind the operation. The first thing I did was sign up our credit card and check card processing after I did a lot of research online at different sites like www.bank-card-processing.com. After that, I consulted with a tax attorney and a human resources expert to make sure I had everything covered when it came to the logistics. The store is really taking shape in inventory is starting to come in… I guess I'm finally going to make it by myself after all!
